I collaborate with patients to try and render their own minds more legible to them which facilitates personal growth and change. With insight, troubling experiences can be diminished – not just managed.
My work is guided primarily by theories from psychoanalysis and phenomenology, but therapy shouldn’t be a purely intellectual endeavor. What is important about these frameworks is that they allow our work to play out with creativity in the context of a developing, authentic relationship and organic conversation. In other words, my approach is tailored to each patient and I do not adhere to a single method.
